1. Features

   • DVD Player - Titles in the DVD Video disk can be zapped and managed. It is much more useful to zap titles quickly than selecting menus and menus with the legacy DVD players. The way to register the DVD is just drag-in the DVD folder icon (i.e. d:\) or "d:\video_ts " folder into the top status message area. To handle and play DVD, the decoder is necessary.

   • Capture All Movies in the Folder - Just dragging-in the folder will capture the eight thumbnails of each movies inside this folder and its sub-folders. Capturing scene is displayed while capturing, so it is fun to capture movies.

   • Capture 20 shots and select typical 8 - By dragging in the movie file or by clicking the "register" button in the list, 20 capture images are created. You can choose typical images up to 8, and save it as the capture album.

   • Manage Offline Media (CD-R, DVD-R) - The movie capture images can be seen anytime, even if the CD-R or DVD-R is offline.

   • Multi Album Supported - Movie capture images are managed based on the folder. Selecting the folder will show all the capture thumbnails of all the movies in the folder. A set of folders can be a album. Multiple album is supported.

   • Evaluation Level and Comment Input - Easy input of evaluation and comment. The evaluation level is selecting "++" "++++" "++++++" "++++++++" "++++++++++" levels.

   • Re-organization by category - When  giving the level and comment after selecting 8 images, you can move the image to the new folder in order to re-organize the category. If many type of images are bunched in one folder, at first you will capture each image and after checking the contents of the movie, you will move the image to the new categorized folder pretty easily.

   • Link Recovery Functionality - After you registered the movie, maybe some movie itself is moved to other folder i.e. for the categorize purpose. In these case, the album registration path and its movie actual path is inconsistent. So, in order to make the link again consistently, you can only drag-in the top folder of new folder. The software will find the same filename inside of the folder and its sub-folders, so that the link is found. 

   • Path Replace Functionality - If a folder moved to CD-R for the archiving purpose, the album registration path and its movie actual path is inconsistent. changed. With this software, if you only set old "d:\" and new CD-R  "e:\", the system try to replace a part of path string. So that the link is not cut.

   • Capture Image Switch Viewer - Adding the evaluation level and comment can be performed with the Image Viewer. By switching the capture images with the wheel, you can add the evaluation level and comment very easily. You can watch the movie sequentially based on the evaluation level sort order.

   • Zapping - Clicking any capture image will play that movie of its scene, even if one movie is playing, other movie can be played  immediately. You can watch any movie anytime 

   • Mouse Based Operation - Single click can play and jump the movie. Mouse wheel work like  the jog-shuttle. It has been long time that we have a hard time to view the part of the movie where we want to view, but this software perfectly solved this.

   • Continue Playing - The movie can continue playing sequentially according to the list order of the movie. Single click of the next and previous button will play next or previous movie.

   • Esc to exit - Esc key will stop the movie or exit the software.

2. License and Payment

   • This software is the shareware.

   • Please refer here for the payment. 

   • You can continue using this software without licensed, but there are some limitation. For example max management files are limited.

   • Once you are licensed, the license is valid with this software updates.

3. Installation

   • This software can used under Microsoft.NET environment, Depending on the Operating  System, you will need to install the following component. The OSs that I confirmed were Me, 2000 and XP.  Others are what I imagine  this might work.

   Windows 98 Windows Me	DirectX 8.1 Runtime for Windows 98 and Me is required. Microsoft.NET framework is required. Please install it. Microsoft.NET installation takes very long time ( over few hours).
   Windows NT iMaybe this worksj	DirectX Ver. 8.x is out of service on this OS, so this might not work, I am not sure. Microsoft.NET framework is required. Please install it.
   Windows 2000	DirectX 8.1b Runtime for Windows 2000 is required. Microsoft.NET framework is required. Please install it.
   Windows XP	‚w‚o User might not need any components. Try using this software. Microsoft.NET framework  sometimes installed depending on what you bought as Pre-installed PC. If you try using this software and if you get the message that tells  mscoree.dll is not found, it means that Microsoft.NET framework is not yet installed. Please install it.

   There are many types of movie files. You need to install Direct Show filters, etc, when viewing movies. If you have trouble please refer to the decoder trouble shooting.

   • To use this software, you need to browse the Internet through the Internet Explorer.

   • After installed the components above, place this "A! Movie Album Zapper" folder in any folder and execute AMvAlbum.exe. 

   • In order to upgrade, just override the old folder.

4. How to use "A! Movie Album Zapper"

   • Please refer to the operation manual for the details.

   • To register DVD, drag-in the "d:\" drive icon or "d:\video_ts" folder.

5. Un-installation

   • Erase the "A! Movie Album Zapper" folder.
