In this step it is possible to customize your Flash Slideshow using the many options offered by A2 Flash BUILDER:
THE SWF DISPLAY OPTIONS:
Box "Change Swf Display size":
With this option you can create a Flash slide-show with proportions different from those determined by the original Flash template.
Change Swf Display size:
a: move the slider to enlarge or diminish the Swf Display size

Note 1: When using this parameter all the elements in your slideshow will be increased or reduced.
Note 2: to change Swf Display, images and/or miniatures sizes: click on: "Modify Template" (this launches the Composer module if present).
Box "Full Screen" :
This shows your work in full-screen format
To activate this option:
a: Check the relevant box
Note: see also: “Inclusion in html for Full-Screen display”
Box "Template" :
Show the selected Flash Template and contains:
1: Use button "Modifies Template" to modify the Flash Template (this launches the Composer module if present)
2: Use button "Preview" to quickly preview work done with a selected template and the inserted images.
Note: in the “Preview” mode, the Sw shows only some of uploaded images to reduce processing time.
TEXT OPTIONS:
Box "Change text colour":
through this box you can change the text colour for each field active in the selected Flash Template.
To change the text colour:
a: click on: "Browse".
b: select colour in the palette, than click "OK"
Note: to change alignments and/or style, click on : "Modify Template" (this launch the Composer module if present).
Box "Change text font":
This option changes the text font in all text fields active in the selected Flash Template.
To change the text font:
a: select from the drop menu one font – this will be applied to all text fields active in the selected Flash Template.

THE GALLERY OPTIONS:
Box "Add Background/Change Background colour ":
This box allows you to insert one .JPG, .PNG or .SWF file as background.
To activate this option:
a: Check the box to select the option
b: Click on "Select JPG" or "Select SWF" as appropriate.
c: Select on your desktop the .JPG, .PNG or .SWF file to be loaded..
How to realize an animated .Swf file for the background:
inside the .fla file you must create a rectangle with alpha = 0 having the same size as the work plan and all the elements used in the file must remain within it ( e.g. if the slideshow size is 520x390 pixels, the work plan and the rectangle with alpha = 0 must have a size 520x390 pixels).
Note 1: if the selected Flash Template already includes a background created in “A2 Composer”, the background selected here will under the existing background.
Note 2: for the perfect insertion of a customized background, it is advisable to arrange for the .jpg or the .swf file to be the same size as the Swf Display (e.g. if used Swf Display is 520 x 390 pixels size, the background should be arranged to be the same size: 520 x 390 pixel).
"Change Background colour ":
Background colour may be changed using this box..
To activate this option:
a: Check the box to set this option
b: Click on: "Select colour"
c: Click the selected colour, then click "OK"
Box "Use Autostart":
This option runs your work in autoplay mode, but it is possible to choose the interval time.
To activate this option:
a: Check the box to set this option
b: Insert in the appropriate field the preferred interval time
Box "Show/Hide":
By using the activation check-box, the following options can be enabled or disabled:
A: Show image when slideshow start:
when Flash slideshow start: the image is shown immediately without click on miniatures.
B: Show Image description:
disabling this check-box, hides the image description which will then not be shown in the Flash slide-show.
C: Show Image subtitle:
disabling this check-box, hides the image subtitle which will then be not shown in the Flash slide-show.
D: Show subtitle under miniature:
disabling this check-box, hides the subtitle under a miniature which will then be not shown in the Flash slide-show.
Note: These fields will be active only if present in the selected Flash Template.
E: Use the Transition effects “Image on Image”:
disabling this check-box, shows the image transition on the background colour.
Box "Insert password":
A password may be created to protect or activate a show your Flash slide show.
This feature may be useful when showing work to your customers, or for the creation of a members’ area.
To activate this option:
a: Check the box to set this option
b: Insert a text password in the appropriate field.
It will now be necessary to type the set password to show your Flash slide show
Box "Show/Hide Controls menu bar":
This option allows the required selection of navigation buttons to be included in a Flash slideshow.
To activate this option:
a: in the activation boxes, with a click, check only the controls not required
Note: removing the check at all menu bar components, will result in no control button being shown in a your Flash slideshow
Box "Add Background audio – Add Click-sound on Miniatures":
Add an audio file.Mp3:
An .MP3 filemay be selected as a background of music to a Flash slideshow:
To add an audio file:
a: Check the set box
b: Click on: "Browse"
c: Select the .Mp3 file to upload (see the .Mp3 file sample in Goodies folder)
Add an audio file.Mp3 like click-sound on miniatures:
An .MP3 file may be selected to run when a miniature is clicked
To add an audio file:
a: Check the set box
b: Click on: "Browse"
c: Select the .Mp3 file to upload (see the .Mp3 file sample in Goodies folder)
IMAGE OPTION:
Box "Add Image enlargement (Wall Paper)":
You can show, save, print an image contained in your Flash slide-show in a new window.
To activate this option:
a: Check the box to set this option
b: Check the required size of radio-button;
In the Flash slide-show this option is activated by the button with the Floppy Disk icon
Box "Add Water-Mark to images":
Images within a Flash slide show may be “signed” with text.
This option is useful to protect the images.
To set the effect:
a: Check the box to set this option
b: Insert your text in the appropriate field;
c: select position, colour, size and font for the text
Box "Convert Images and Miniatures in Gray scale"
Converts all images or all miniatures from Colour to Gray scale.
To set the effect:
a: check a single box to convert to gray scale either miniatures or images
b: check both boxes to convert to gray scale images and miniatures.
GRAFICS OPTIONS:
Box "Add Image Transitions"
A2 Flash offers a large graphic library with more than 150 transition effects. These may be used alone or in pairs with "animated effects" to enhance graphical impact.
To set one or more Image Transition effects:
a: Click on the Transition name you like.
b: Click "Add Effect". The added effect will appear in the side window (Note: different effects may be added in the same Flash slide show)
c. to change the Transition effect position: use the buttons or type the number in the suitable box
To remove a transition from the images:
a: Click, in the right window, the Transition preview to be removed.
b: Click on the icon "trash".
To update the window click on the button "Refresh"
Box "Add Animated Effect"
A2 Flash offer to you a large graphic library with more than 100 available animated graphics. These may be used alone or in pairs with "image transitions" to produce enhanced impact.
To apply one or more Animated effects:
a: Click on the Animated effect name you like
b: Click on "Add Effect"( different effects may be used within a single Flash slide show)
c. to change the Animated effect position: use the buttons or type in the number in the appropriate box.
To remove an Animated effect:
a: Click, in the right window, on the effect preview to be removed
b: Click on the icon "trash"
To update the window click on the button "Refresh"
"Synchronous" transitions to join as "Synchronous" Animated Effects:
These transitions used in conjunction with respective “animated effects” create extraordinary graphic impact
To use "synchronous" transitions attached to an animated "synchronous" effect on images:
:
Select from the Graphic Options: "Add Image Transitions"
a: Select, by clicking the name, the transition (1); the "synchronous" transitions identified by the number and the abbreviation prefix "SY" - (e.g. 1-SY-CLOSING, 2-SY-OPENING, etc)
b: Click on: "add effect " (2).
c: Select, in the side window, the icon (3) and remove (4). The Image Transition inserted by default (generally shown with the number 0)
now, from the Graphic Options panel, Select: "Add Animated Effects"
a: Select, by clicking the name,, the "Synchronous" Animated effect (1) related to the selected "Synchronous" Image Transition; the Animated "Synchronous" effects are identified by the number and the abbreviation prefix "SY" (e.g. 1-SY-Effect 1-W, 1-SY-Effect 2-W etc)
Note: All the effects with the same prefix (eg 1) may be combined with the synchronous transitions with the prefix 1 (eg 1-SY-OPENING may be combined with synchronous animated effect: 1-SY-Effect 1-W or 1-SY-Effect 2-W etc but not with those having different prefixes.
b: Click "add effect " (2).
c: Select (3) and remove (4 in pict). The animated effect inserts by default (generally shown with the number 0)
Further synchronous effects may be added by repeating the points a and b above for the transitions and effects.
Box "Effects on Miniatures":
Animated graphic effects may be applied to miniatures, and shown when run.
To add an effect on the miniatures:
a: Click on the selected effect
b: Click on "Add Effect"
To remove an effect from the miniatures:
a: Click on the effect preview to be removed
b: Click on the icon "trash"
Box "Roll-over on miniature"
Effects can be applied to miniatures in response to mouse roll-over.
To add a Roll-over on the miniatures:
a: Click on the selected effect
b: Enable the effect by clicking the check-box "Insert Effect"
To remove a Roll-over effect on miniatures:
a: Disable check-box "Insert Effect"
