Setting the Resolution of a PowerPoint Presentation

The default setting for PowerPoint presentations assumes a low resolution for images. This is due to the assumption that you will be doing basic computer based presentations. It does not, however, allow for the screening of complex images and when iPresent It extracts these slides you may get grainy or otherwise unacceptable images for your slides.

To improve the quality of the images obtained by iPresent It go into PowerPoint's prefences and select the Save tab. The second half of these preferences allows you to set the image resolution for the presentation slides. Select a Dots per inch value acceptable for your presentations and click OK. iPresent It will now extract the presentation slides at the higher resolution.

The Dots per inch value to choose is subjective but 300dpi is usually sufficient. In some cases more may be required.
