Acne

This recipe uses both fake skin and makeup. You can find the recipe to make your own fake skin here and the recipe to make your own makeup here.

To make warts, moles, and zits, first knead fake skin or Play-Doh® into a ball on a glass plate. Pour liquid latex over this and let it set overnight. When dried, pull the zit or wart off the plate. If this is supposed to be a zit then apply it to the skin with Kayro® light and clear corn syrup and cover the edges with skin, blending into your skin. If it is supposed to be a wart paint the zit brown with brown makeup and with Elmer's® school glue glue on some bristles from a toothbrush then apply the wart the same way the zit is applied to the skin.

Pimples are made by dropping small dots of liquid latex on a glass plate using an eye dropper and letting this dry overnight. These pimples can be glued to the skin using Kayro® light and clear corn syrup. Applying red makeup around the pimples and placing the pimples close together can add a more realistic touch.

To make black heads simply make black dots using eyeliner pencil on the skin as you would the freckles (see below).

Block Out Eyebrows

Blocking out the eyebrows allows makeup and prosthetics to be applied over the eyebrows without getting into them as well as making the eyebrows look shaven. Mix ivory soap with water to form a paste and press this against the eyebrows until they're blocked out.

Curved Lips

Take a black eyeliner pencil and draw small lines downwards that match the way your lips are curved at the corners of your lips.

For an eerie effect, just dab dots at the corner of the lips, which will enlarge the mouth as well.

Freckles

The lighter your skin the lighter the eye pencil needs to be. Brown works for lightly tanned complexions while a red or blonde pencil works for pale complexions. Remember - the he key to making fake freckles is making them look natural.

To get started you should wash your face with warm water and towel dry. Next sit in front of a mirror. If you have a fuller face you may look best with a lot of freckles. However, if your face is thin go for a smaller amount of freckles so you dont overwhelm your face.

Uncap your eye pencil and lean into the mirror to get a closer look. Take the pencil in press the tip into your skin. Start at the bridge of your nose and work your way back to the cheekbones. Do not press the pencil to hard. The lighter your freckles the more natural they will look. Do not make all of your freckles the same size - some can be larger while others can be small.

Gently dust your face with blush. It will help blend the color into your skin giving your marks a more realistic and natural appearance.

Hollow Eyes

This recipe uses makeup. You can find the recipe to make your own makeup here.

Deep and hollow eyes can be achieved by painting black makeup around the eyes using your fingertips.

Nose Plugs

Nose plugs can be essential to enhancing a swollen/broken nose effect. Simply cut the tip of a baby's pacifier and stick them into your nose, round tip up. Remember to cut air holes at the hump of the pacifier so that you can breathe.
