How do I change the background color?

You can easily change the background color to your liking.

To change the background color:

  1. Click the Inspector toolbar button (Command-Shift-I) to open the Inspector.
  2. Switch to the Page tab:

  3. Depending on your document you find ...
    • ... a Solid Color panel:
      Solid color panel.

    • ... a Gradient panel:

  4. Click the color well of the color you like to change:

    The system color picker appears:

  5. Use the color picker to change the color to your liking.

Tip

You can use the magnification glass on the color picker to pick a color from your document.

When clicked, the cursor changes to a magnification glass. Then move the mouse pointer over the part of your document where you like to sample a color and click the mouse. You can use the Color Picker as usual to fine tune the sampled color.
