strace的是基于“少走弯路”实用套接字/ SSL示踪剂。该工具已经specificaly设计为生成LOG的Internet Explorer，但它可以与许多其他应用中使用。
使用strace的使用Internet Explorer等同用WININET.DLL的（非完整）调试版本生成LOG WININET。该strace的日志包含明文HTTP流量（带插座的信息）和加密/解密SSL数据。
从strace的日志，您可以使用HTTPREPLAY工具，一个完整的导航方案“重播”。这可能是有用的，以重现一个问题或离线浏览网站。
